ENGNevhis means fresh, tender, new. It came as a gift of the days when we looked at life with new eyes, realized our real needs, and understood the value of nature and health. Nevhis was born for women who want to dress both comfortably and stylishly, who seek original designs and who are at peace with themselves and nature.
Our brand started with the ideas and efforts of İpek Yücel and Zeynep Şedele, who came from different business experiences in the past. Actually, we should say three. Mrs. Nevhis, mother of one of the founders İpek Yücel, a maturation graduate, is also the mother of the name of this brand. An exciting journey began with the luck of his talent and energy.
We have prepared our designs in such a way that you can move freely and look stylish. You will find the luxury in our meticulous sewing and fine details in the design.
What’s in our collection: We used muslin fabric, which is very popular in the summer, in anthracite (gray) designs this season. Our main axis products are the pieces we prepared from 3 yarn combed fabric. You will especially love the muslin and combed cotton pieces, which we blend this season’s favorite fabric with plush. These paired very well with our viscose dresses and skirts. The different combinations that emerged in the studio and outdoor shoots surprised even us 🙂
In some pieces, the little surprises of our beloved artist Ayşegül Yenen will surprise you; we aim to bring together the rich patterns of our culture with the comfortable and stylish clothing style of Nevhis. Our new collection is just the beginning of this goal.
Our motto is “your new mood”. We wish you to wear our Nevhis products, which will make you feel more natural, more flexible and comfortable, and raise your mood, on good days, with pleasure and health.
Touches of artist/designer Ayşegül Yenen at Nevhis
Artist-designer Ayşegül Yenen is in Nevhis’ new collection with her touches where she brings together the old and the new, Ottoman/Turkish traditional motifs and Anatolian aesthetics.
The details, in which the motifs used in Ottoman fabrics and tiles are designed with contemporary interpretations and colored with traditional woodblock prints, enrich the Nevhis collection and invite those who care about details to explore.
Who is Ayşegül Yenen?
After completing the Textile Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, she completed her master’s degree in Traditional Turkish Arts at the same university.
For many years, he designed patterns, accessories and collections for Turkey’s leading textile and apparel companies.
Ayşegül Yenen’s paintings, who are also active in other branches of Visual Arts, have been viewed in personal exhibitions in Qatar, Bahrain, Algeria and Turkey. Ayşegül Yenen, who has works in private and state collections at home and abroad, continues her painting, textile and design works in her own gallery (SAH Gallery) in Istanbul / Kadıköy.
